    Storytelling Sessions

    Schools, Museums, Festivals, Fun!

The excitement continued after your visit, with children keen to tell stories to each other, play at ‘being storytellers’ and writing their own stories  Hertford Infants School, East Sussex

My work in education is full of vibrant and interactive tales from around the world - traditional and factual, with plenty of space for imagination and play. My sessions can match subjects being explored in the curriculum, from Sciences to Humanities to English Literature. I focus on Primary School age groups. I've created & told stories for families for Apples & Snakes and at the British Museum, London Symphony Orchestra, Camp Bestival, English National Opera, Polka Theatre, and the Royal Shakespeare Company Schools Network, and thousands of school children across the UK.

We got a great response from Young Friends & parents. Rachel has a large repertoire of stories that can be tailored for many different themes and topics. We would recommend Rachel for any events that require storytellers. Sarah Kinsella, British Museum

I have an up-to-date DBS check & am a member of Equity which covers my PLI.

    Workshops for Educators

    Grow Your Storytelling Skills!

Workshops for parents and educators teach essential storytelling skills, learning how to adapt stories, and engage young audiences, and build confidence as a fantastic storyteller be it for lessons, bedtime stories, or on the stage! I've taught these workshops around the world for the British Council, The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival & ERASMUS.

Here's some feedback from workshop participants:

Fabulous! Understanding these fundamental aspects of storytelling has given me tools to choose, to shake up and break habits and patterns and to have more fun with my stories Drama School Student

Your workshop was one of the best I’ve ever done and I’ve done loads of workshops and run my own. I really liked the fact that the day was about us – and that you were so genuinely interested in and appreciative of our work. I know I learnt a lot, much more than I expected in a day. It was very encouraging Primary School Teacher & Parent
